The assignment began SHG's transition into the spa industry, consulting with spa facilities to add physician services to their treatment menus. Likewise, many physicians also realized the benefits offered their patients/clientele by integrating spa services into their practices to augment procedures, and engaged SHG to assist them in this endeavor.
Medical Spa Division
The demand by our clients in the spa industry lead to the creation of a division within SHG that specializes in the needs of medical spas. This includes a full range of medical spa consulting services - from concept, feasibility study and business plan, to construction and operation. SHG, in conjunction with our west coast associates, has consulted in the development of day spas throughout the country. Development of a company-owned medical spa, The Spa at The Retreat at Split Rock, located in the Wilton, Connecticut, opened in October 2003.
